Division Lead Job Summary:
The Electrical Construction Project Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the successful execution of electrical construction projects. This individual is responsible for overseeing project administration, managing documentation, assisting with budgeting and scheduling, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. They will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient project workflows and ensure timely completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Administration:
o Assist project managers with day-to-day operations of electrical construction projects. o Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes. o Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, purchase orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and shop drawings. o Maintain an up to date overall project drawing set available for reference for field and office personnel •
Contractor & Vendor Relations:
o Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure the timely procurement of materials and services. o Manage and track the delivery of materials and equipment required for electrical work. •
Compliance & Safety:
o Track safety reports and incidents, ensuring that proper safety protocols are followed on site. •
Scheduling & Resource Management:
o Assist in the updating of project schedules, coordinating timelines between project teams, contractors, and suppliers. •
Reporting & Communication:
o Prepare regular project status updates for stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise reporting. o Provide administrative support during client meetings and assist with project-related inquiries. •
Quality Control:
o Help ensure that quality control procedures are followed on-site. o Identify and report any issues related to quality or compliance.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
