[Job Description] A reputable GC Construction Company located in Seattle, WA is currently hiring for a Project Engineer. The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager with the planning and daily execution of projects. They will be responsible for maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule, as assigned by the Project Manager, by managing the process of submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials, and maintaining schedules and budgets to ensure projects are completed with quality, profitability, and while complying with Safety/Zero Harm culture. Must be comfortable commuting to Renton, Seattle, Bellevue, etc. for project site visits) [Summary of Key Responsibilities] Project Financial Responsibilities Preconstruction Services Project Start-up and Scheduling RFI Change orders Submittals Project Administration, Coordination, and Close-out Promote Customer Relations Promote Culture, Leadership, and Employee Development [Qualification Requirements] Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field of Engineering 2+ years of Commercial Construction experience (ground up, vertical, tenant improvement, etc.) Comfortable managing RFIs and the Submittal process Comfortable communicating with various foremen and trades Experience writing subcontracts Experience reviewing project plans Comfortable submitting to a drug test (including testing for THC) upon onboarding.
