Job Description

Our client in the Seattle, WA location is currently hiring for a Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects across the greater Seattle Metro area. This is an onsite, contract‑to‑hire opportunity supporting large, high‑profile projects. Pay
  • $80,000
  • $90,000 annually (depending on experience, tenure, and project experience) Location
  • Seattle, WA (Onsite at project locations including Renton, Seattle, Bellevue, and surrounding areas) Schedule
  • Standard Monday
  • Friday (40 hours per week) Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager with planning and daily execution of commercial construction projects
  • Support project financial responsibilities and cost tracking
  • Participate in preconstruction services and project start‑up
  • Assist with project scheduling and coordination
  • Prepare, track, and manage RFIs
  • Process and manage submittals and approvals
  • Assist with change orders and documentation
  • Coordinate material deliveries and maintain schedules
  • Support project administration and close‑out procedures
  • Promote strong customer relations
  • Support company culture, leadership, and safety initiatives Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related engineering field
  • 1+ year of experience with a general contractor in commercial construction
  • Experience performing RFIs, submittals, and close‑out procedures
  • Familiarity with project coordination, scheduling, and construction documentation
  • Ability to work onsite at active construction projects in the greater Seattle Metro area Disqualifiers
  • No commercial construction experience
  • No experience with RFIs or submittals
  • Inability to commute to onsite project locations Employee Value Proposition

  • $90000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
