Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as an Assistant Project Engineer at Pivetta Brothers Construction and be a vital part of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to support project management teams through coordination, planning, and technical expertise. You'll work closely with Senior Engineers, Project and Division Managers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution from inception to completion. Duties Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using construction management software to ensure timely project delivery Support project teams with cost estimation, budgeting, and construction estimating activities to optimize resource allocation Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to track project progress and resolve issues promptly Prepare and review contracts, change orders, and RFIs (Requests for Information) to ensure clarity and compliance with project specifications Utilize tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, and HeavyBid for document management, drawing reviews, and bid analysis Monitor construction site activities to ensure safety standards are met while maintaining quality control Assist in tracking project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables through effective project scheduling and time management practices Experience Prior experience in construction site roles, education, or internships that provided exposure to construction management processes Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or similar platforms Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and contract administration procedures Hands-on experience with project coordination on active construction sites is highly desirable Strong understanding of project scheduling, contract management, and construction safety protocols Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines Effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams including engineers, contractors, and clients This role offers an engaging environment where your technical skills will grow alongside your professional development.
