Washington , Spokane Job Description We are currently looking for a Traveling Project Engineer to join a well-established heavy and highway contractor. This role supports the construction project management team by handling project administration, data management, and communication between stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Responsibilities:
Assist in project startup, including permitting, file setup, budget preparation, compliance, and job site coordination Support the bid process by preparing pre-qualification applications and tracking bids Manage subcontractor documentation, including job costing, compliance, change orders, and payment applications Assist in procurement, data entry, and job costing for purchases Support billing by coding pay estimates and tracking project expenses Maintain electronic files, project plans, submittals, and ongoing correspondence Assist with change orders, inspections, and overall project administration Support project closeout activities and final documentation
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in administration, accounting, or engineering, preferably on large-scale construction projects Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred Experience with billing, document control, and purchasing processes Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Proficiency in office software and construction management tools Apply Today !!!
