Utility and roadway design experience is required; proficiency in CAD is a strong plus.
Note:
Local residency in the Portland, OR / Vancouver, WA metro area is required for this role.
Compensation:
Commensurate based on skills and experience.
Work Location:
In-person Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design teams to develop plans that meet project requirements, codes, and industry standards. Review and revise drawings based on feedback from owners, project managers, and the design team. Execute roadway design and utility relocation/improvement plans. Utilize CAD software to produce accurate 2D and 3D designs (depending on experience).
Job Requirements:
Proven experience with major transit and transportation projects. Experience working within multi-disciplinary engineering teams. Strong background in civil design, specifically focusing on roads and utilities. Experience coordinating directly with private utility providers. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in design development. Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Pay:
$65,170.64 - $78,485.08 per year
