Commercial Construction (Healthcare, Data Centers, Critical Projects) About the Role We're seeking a driven Project Engineer to support the planning and day‑to‑day execution of commercial construction projects in Eastern Washington. This role works closely with the Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and with the highest standards of quality and safety . What You'll Do Assist with project planning, start‑up, and scheduling Manage project financial responsibilities as assigned Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) and track resolutions Process and track change orders Coordinate and manage submittals and approvals Support material procurement and timely delivery Assist with project administration, coordination, and close‑out Provide preconstruction support when needed Promote strong customer and stakeholder relationships Support leadership efforts and contribute to employee development and team growth Uphold company standards for quality, profitability, and safety What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field 2+ years of experience with a general contractor, preferably in commercial tenant improvement Hands‑on experience with: RFIs Submittals Change orders Project close‑out Project engineering and construction management processes Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills Ability to work onsite in Yakima with occasional travel to job sites Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting healthcare or clinical construction projects Experience using Procore (preferred) or other project management software Work Environment This role is based 100% onsite in a Yakima office, supporting large, critical commercial construction projects throughout Eastern Washington. Project exposure may include healthcare facilities, data centers, and other complex builds . Collaboration with field teams and leadership is a key part of the role. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
