Job Description

Our client is a nationally recognised EPC firm, specializing in pulp & paper, chemicals, food & beverage, consumer goods and other heavy industrial markets. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and assessment of structural systems for a wide range of industrial facilities.
Typical responsibilities include:
Designing structures that safely withstand operational loads, environmental pressures, and long‑term industrial demands. Developing calculations for loads, stresses, foundations, and material selection. Preparing engineering reports, design criteria, technical drawings, and cost estimates.

Creating and reviewing structural drawings, including support structures, foundations, and equipment bases. Overseeing and inspecting construction activities, ensuring all work meets structural integrity standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborating with process, mechanical, civil, and architectural engineering teams to align structural design with operational needs. Providing on‑site engineering support, reviewing vendor documentation, and participating in structural assessments. Using CAD and structural analysis tools for modelling, simulation, and design optimisation.

RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.6+ years of experience in structural engineering for heavy industrial or manufacturing facilitiesExperience with structural analysis software such as STAAD, AutoCAD, and Revit (or comparable tools). Understanding of construction methods, materials, industry codes, and relevant legal regulations. Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
