Full Job Description Summary:
Seeking a Project Engineer specialized in plastics to lead cross-functional teams from quoting to production launch in medical device and component manufacturing.
Requirements:
Engineering degree (Mechanical or Plastics) Five plus years' experience in plastic manufacturing Ability to review part designs and mold construction basics Medical molding experience, including High-Consistency Rubber, Gum Silicone, and Liquid Silicone molding Understanding of thermoplastic and thermoset injection molding
Preferred Skills:
Experience with advanced quality planning (APQP) Knowledge of Design Of Experiments (DOEs) and capability studies Familiarity with automation concepts and secondary operations
Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional teams from quoting stage to production launch Manage multiple projects with effective timeline management using tools like MS Project Gantt charts Oversee suppliers including mold makers and material suppliers Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
