Job Description

Civil Engineer - Paragon Associates Paragon Associates is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their growing team, supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, and mixed-use development projects. This role will be heavily involved in site planning, permitting, and project leadership , working across projects ranging from industrial buildings to multi-family developments and waterfront infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Lead and support site planning and land development projects from concept through completion Prepare and review full plan sets including grading, drainage, and utility design Manage and navigate the permitting process with local municipalities and agencies Serve as project lead , coordinating with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders Design and oversee drainage systems and stormwater management solutions Support projects involving public infrastructure integration (e.g., sewer/water extensions on private roads) Conduct and contribute to flood studies and environmental considerations (e.g., marina projects) Work across a variety of asset types including: Commercial and industrial buildings Hospitality (hotel projects) Residential and multi-family (including ~100-unit developments) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Experience with site development and land planning Strong understanding of permitting, zoning, and municipal processes Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) Experience with drainage design and stormwater management Ability to manage multiple projects and act in a client-facing/project lead capacity Additional Notes Competitive market for talent (recent candidates receiving offers significantly above market) Opportunity to work on diverse, high-impact development projects
