The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and will be responsible for plan production, site grading, and utility design using Civil3D. This position involves working under a Professional Engineer (PE) to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and design of civil engineering projects. Perform grading and utility design using Civil 3D software. Collaborate with the Site Design team to develop project plans, specifications, and estimates. Conduct site visits and field inspections to gather data and assess project requirements. Review projects to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Support the PE in various engineering tasks and project management activities. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Proficiency in Civil 3D software desired. 1-4 years of experience with site design and land development projects. Familiarity with local, state, and federal engineering standards and regulations. Previous internship or work experience in a civil engineering role Strong understanding of grading and utility design principles. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional engineering setting.
