Civil Engineer

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with a strong background in site design and land development to join our Milwaukee-based team. This role focuses on the planning and design of commercial, industrial, and/or residential site projects, including grading, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating with internal teams, clients, and municipalities. Key Responsibilities Design and prepare site development plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and erosion control Develop stormwater management systems in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Prepare construction documents, technical specifications, and permit submittals Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, architects, and other engineering disciplines Communicate with municipal agencies and regulatory authorities throughout the permitting process Support project execution from concept through construction, including responding to RFIs and assisting with construction administration Ensure designs comply with Wisconsin DOT, DNR, local municipal standards, and industry best practices Manage multiple projects while meeting schedules, budgets, and quality standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field 2-8+ years of experience in site design / land development (level flexible based on role) EIT required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain in Wisconsin Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Strong knowledge of grading, stormwater, utilities, and site layout design Experience working with local municipalities and permitting agencies in Wisconsin preferred Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
