Job Description

About the Role Our client is a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy recognised for delivering high-quality technical solutions across a diverse range of projects. They support sectors including infrastructure, development, energy, and environmental services, and are known for their collaborative approach and strong technical expertise. They are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer•Project Manager to join their Milwaukee based team. This role is suited to an experienced geotechnical professional who enjoys managing projects, providing technical input, and working closely with colleagues and clients to support successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Perform complex geotechnical analyses and structural design of pile elements and underpinning systems, including special engineering inspections Prepare technical documents and oversee the development of proposals, reports, construction documents, and project-related correspondence Supervise field investigations and standard earthwork and foundation construction activities Manage multiple projects and tasks within defined budgets, schedules, and deadlines Plan and organise project tasks, including developing project and task budgets Prepare progress reports, draft change orders, and support invoicing and project billing activities Carry out additional duties as required Requirements / Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's degree with a geotechnical emphasis preferred) Professional Engineer (PE) licence required 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience 3+ years of field experience including geotechnical investigations and construction observation Experience with earthworks, deep foundations, subgrade preparation, ground improvement, and excavation support systems, including tiebacks Demonstrated ability to prepare technical reports, specifications, and construction documents Experience managing projects, budgets, and client relationships Working knowledge of geotechnical analysis tools and relevant software Understanding of applicable codes and regulatory requirements Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills Ability to mentor and support junior staff Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively within project teams Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to site and client locations as required Why Join Our Client?
