Job Description

Milwaukee, WI Structural Department Full-Time Join the Kapur Team as a Senior Structural Engineer in our Indiana or Wisconsin Office and be an integral part of growing Transportation design services. We are seeking a someone who is highly motivated, collaborative, proactive, and delivers quality work.
Responsibilities:
Manage projects including developing the scope & budget, proposal technical sections, interview presentations, participating in contract negotiations, client communications and overseeing successful project delivery to the client's satisfaction. Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, and specification. Manage and review design related calculations, reports, plans and specifications. Responsible to manage project staffing, including, but not limited to; mentoring, recruitment, development, retention, and succession of project staff; development of plan for project staff reporting; and support for performance reviews. Coordinate with internal project teams and clients to address issues or concerns related to design. Be part of business development pursuit, building client relationships. Assist in growing structures group with recruitment, hiring, and development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering with 10 years of relevant experience Four years of successful management of engineering projects Familiarity with AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications Desire to mentor young staff Professional Engineer (PE) License Strong reputation and client relationships in transportation market Excellent verbal and written communication skills
