Job Description
Field Project Engineer role focused on mechanical installation, construction support, commissioning activities, and multidisciplinary EPC project execution for power, energy, and heavy industrial facilities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline 3+ years of experience supporting EPC projects in power, chemical, refining, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments Combined cycle power plant experience or closely related industry experience Experience supporting mechanical systems installation Experience with piping, turbines, HRSG systems, and balance of plant equipment Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and related engineering documentation Working knowledge of mechanical systems, including piping, rotating equipment, HVAC, or similar systems Working knowledge of civil and structural interfaces, including foundations, supports, and steel Working knowledge of electrical interfaces, including cable routing and equipment connections Preferred Skills Field Engineer, Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, Mechanical Field Engineer, or Commissioning Engineer background Experience in chemical plant, refining, petrochemical, or heavy industrial construction environments Multidisciplinary project exposure Experience supporting combined cycle power plant, energy project, or large industrial facility construction Responsibilities Support mechanical installation and construction activities Support field execution for combined cycle power plants, energy projects, or large industrial facilities Verify construction, installation, and commissioning activities align with engineering specifications and project requirements Support piping, turbine, HRSG, and balance of plant equipment installation Review P&IDs, isometric drawings, and engineering documentation during field execution Coordinate mechanical work with civil, structural, and electrical interfaces Support commissioning and construction issue resolution Assist with field project engineering activities across mechanical systems and related disciplines
