Job Description

Field Engineer / Project Engineer (Construction) Based in Northern Wyoming | Travel to project sites required At Bairco Construction , we don't just build projects—we build some of the most unique and meaningful infrastructure in the country. From National Parks to mission-critical federal work, our crews operate where others don't—and we take a lot of pride in doing it right. We're looking for a Field Engineer / Project Engineer to join our team—someone who thrives in the field, takes ownership, and wants to be part of a company that values both performance. What You'll Do Maintain daily reports, field logs, and project documentation Support project managers and superintendents with on-site coordination Assist with quality control processes and inspections Coordinate materials testing, reporting, and compliance tracking Track quantities, production, and progress in the field Assist with RFIs, submittals, and as-built documentation Communicate with subcontractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders Help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to spec What We're Looking For Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field OR relevant field experience Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work outdoors and adapt to changing jobsite conditions Willingness to travel to project sites (often in remote or scenic locations) Self-starter mindset with attention to detail Experience with federal projects is a plus (but not required) Why Bairco? $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
