Job Duties:
Prepare detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) for fabrication and installation of metal railings and stair structures. Analyze project plans, blueprints, and architectural drawings to determine material requirements, dimensions, and structural considerations. Conduct calculations related to load-bearing capacity, structural integrity, and material strength in accordance with engineering standards. Review and verify fabrication drawings to ensure alignment with engineering designs and project specifications. Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, material take-offs, and project timelines for railing and stair manufacturing projects. Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. Perform site visits and field measurements to support installation and ensure proper fit and alignment of fabricated components. Inspect finished products and installations to verify compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and client requirements. Maintain project documentation, including drawings, revisions, and technical reports. Support troubleshooting and resolution of design or production issues related to structural components and fabrication processes.
Requirements:
An associate's degree in Civil Engineering from a U.S or a foreign accredited college.
