If you have previous experience with MicroStation or ORD in the civil engineering industry (ODOT transportation), this position could be a good fit.
POSITION SUMMARY
Perform drafting functions for assigned projects using computer-aided drafting & design programs such as AutoCAD (Civil 3D) and Microstation (OpenRoads). Apply civil engineering techniques, terminology, practices, project schedules, plans, and processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Work with the assigned Project Engineer or Project Manager and provide drafting support as needed. Stay current with the latest CADD software capabilities and utilize as required. Attend training (all formats) as required to maintain competency in current CADD software. Assist in preparing engineering sketches/exhibits for client proposals/presentations. Adhere to CAD practices, policies, and standards. Acquire an understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities. Work with CADD staff regarding technical issues, training, and other CADD system issues. Interact with other staff on assignments. Assume other duties as directed by the Group Lead Comply with all Company policies, procedures, practices, and rules. Serve as an example of proper conduct in accordance with the Company Guiding Principles. Live our Purpose and help achieve our Vision.

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or comparable GED 2-5 years of experience with CADD software in the Civil Engineering Transportation industry preferred Completion of a Computer-Aided Drafting Certification program is preferred Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally Aguirre & Fields is a team of engineering innovators with grit and character, united by a passion to serve communities where they live and work and a determination to see those communities grow and flourish.
