Westlund Consultancy, LLC About Us Westlund Consultancy is a growing architecture and engineering firm serving municipalities, counties, public housing authorities, state agencies, and commercial clients throughout Wisconsin. Our multidisciplinary team provides architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, surveying, and reality capture services with a strong focus on public-sector projects. As our workload continues to expand, we are seeking either a Civil Engineer or an experienced Civil Engineering Technician to join our team and help support a variety of infrastructure, site development, municipal, and public works projects. Responsibilities Depending on experience and qualifications, responsibilities may include: Site design and land development planning Grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design Preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and permit applications Municipal infrastructure design including streets, water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems Construction administration and field observations Coordination with architects, engineers, surveyors, and public agencies Preparation of cost estimates and technical reports Assistance with grant-funded and public-sector projects Use of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, GIS, and related software platforms Qualifications Civil Engineer Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Wisconsin PE license preferred (or ability to obtain) 3+ years of relevant experience preferred Experience with municipal or site development projects desirable Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Civil Engineering Technician Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field preferred 2+ years of drafting, design, or construction-related experience Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred Knowledge of municipal infrastructure and site development projects is a plus What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Flexible scheduling and hybrid work opportunities Health insurance options Paid holidays and PTO Professional development and continuing education support Opportunity to work directly with experienced architects and engineers Exposure to a wide variety of municipal, commercial, housing, and public infrastructure projects Why Join Westlund?
