We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineer In Training to join our team. The Engineering Technician will work closely with engineers and other team members to support the design, planning, and implementation of various civil engineering projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of civil engineering and contribute to the successful completion of projects that impact communities.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, drafting, and preparation of civil engineering plans and documents. Conduct site visits and assist with surveying and data collection. Perform calculations and analysis related to site grading, drainage, utilities, and earthwork. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately. Prepare reports, permit applications, and other project documentation as needed. Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering Technology or related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software. Strong technical and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
