Design Intern

• What You'll Be Doing

• Job Summary:

• Generally responsible for performing or assisting with routine assignments. This work will be performed under direct supervision.
• Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• + Familiarity with and utilization of department architectural standards. + Assisting in developing office standards. + Assisting in producing drawings and sketches for projects. + Assisting field survey work + Assisting in finish selections. • Ideal Background

• Education:

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Architecture program or Master degree program for Architecture at an accredited university is required.

GPA:

2.7 or above

• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• + Familiarity with standards and codes. + Working knowledge of CAD software, either AutoCAD, Revit or both. + Familiarity with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. + Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
