Structural Drafter

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural Drafter to join our design and engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise and comprehensive structural drawings that support the successful execution of construction projects. Your expertise will help translate conceptual designs into clear, accurate technical schematics, ensuring seamless communication between architects, engineers, and construction teams. Responsibilities Develop detailed structural drawings and schematics using AutoCAD and Revit Collaborate closely with engineers and architects to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drafts. Prepare 2D plans, sections, elevations, and details for various structural components. Review and revise drawings based on feedback, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety codes and industry standards. Maintain organized digital files of all drawings, ensuring version control and easy accessibility for team members. Experience Experience in structural drafting or a related field within architecture or civil engineering preferred. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam for document management. Familiarity with construction drawing design and development. Experience working on construction projects from initial design through to completion is highly desirable. Knowledge of drafting standards, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
