We are looking for a Designer/Drafter to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will be based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week .

Key Responsibilities Design Development:

Translating conceptual designs into precise CAD drawings and 3D models, ensuring all specifications and standards are met, and collaborating with engineers to refine designs

Project Management:

Overseeing design projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams

Collaboration:

Communicating internal teams to gather requirements, present designs, and implement feedback

Quality Control:

Ensuring all drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications, and performing technical reviews of CAD content developed by others Core Technical Skills Advanced CAD proficiency : Mastery of CAD software SolidWorks 2D & 3D modeling : Ability to create detailed, accurate technical drawings and models for engineering projects. Industry standards & codes : Knowledge of engineering, or manufacturing standards. Software tools : Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and file management systems (Enterprise PDM)

Experience & Education Education :

Associate's or technical degree in drafting, engineering or equivalent experience

Experience :

5+ years in CAD design or related roles, with specialized experience in the target industry (energy, semiconductor, medical) Professional Skills Analytical & problem-solving : Ability to interpret complex specifications and translate them into accurate designs

Communication :

Strong written and verbal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Project management : Experience managing design projects from concept to completion, and meeting deadlines Attention to detail : Precision in drafting to ensure compliance with project requirements #BEI2024 #LI-JH1
