About Decoro Building Products Decoro Building Products is a 3rd generation manufacturer of premium exterior architectural products, serving commercial and high-end residential construction markets. We specialize in custom decorative trim elements, including columns, railing and balustrade systems, cornices and entablatures, brackets, shutters, door and window surrounds, pergolas, and more. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Architectural Drafter to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating architectural concepts into precise shop drawings and production-ready documentation while collaborating with architects, contractors, project managers, and fabrication teams. Position Overview The Architectural Drafter will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, submittals, and fabrication documents for exterior architectural products and custom building components. This role plays a key part in ensuring projects move efficiently from design through manufacturing and installation. Responsibilities Create detailed shop drawings and technical submittals from architectural plans and specifications Produce fabrication-ready drawings for custom exterior building products and assemblies Coordinate dimensions, material selections, and construction details with project managers and customers Review architectural drawings and identify conflicts or missing information Revise drawings based on internal review, customer comments, and field conditions Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure drawings are accurate and manufacturable Maintain organized project files and drawing revisions Assist with product development and standard detail creation as needed Qualifications Experience with AutoCAD required Experience with Revit, SolidWorks, or similar drafting/modeling software is a plus 2+ years of drafting experience in architectural, millwork, construction, cladding, or building products industries preferred Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Experience Architectural millwork or trim Custom fabrication or manufacturing environments Construction documentation and shop drawing processes

From $25.00 per hour
