We provide architectural design and construction document services for residential and commercial projects throughout Southwest Florida. As our project pipeline grows, we're looking to add a detail-oriented drafter to support our design and documentation process. About the Role We're looking for an Architectural Drafter / CAD Technician to join our small, collaborative team. In this role, you'll work directly with our principal architect to produce construction drawings and support projects from schematic design through permitting. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience across a wide range of project types — residential renovations, tenant build-outs, and commercial projects. What You'll Do Produce construction drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules using AutoCAD Assist with drawing set coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines Support permit submission packages and respond to plan review comments under the direction of the principal architect Perform field measurements and site documentation as needed Help maintain drawing standards, templates, and project files Collaborate directly with the principal architect on design development and revisions What We're Looking For 3-5 years of experience in architectural drafting, CAD production, or a related role Associate's degree (AA/AS) or higher in Construction Science, Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field — or currently pursuing one Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Familiarity with SketchUp is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established drawing standards Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team Good communication skills — you'll be working closely with our principal architect daily What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Direct mentorship from a licensed architect (AIA) Exposure to a wide variety of project types — residential, commercial, and tenant build-outs A small-firm environment where your contributions are visible and valued Opportunity for growth as the firm expands Salary range of $42,000-$50,000 based on experience, with opportunity for review at 90 days How to Apply Please submit your resume along with examples of drawing sets or projects you've worked on.
