40.0 Responsibilities Support engineering teams by performing technical tasks under close supervision, utilizing advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices. Create and modify site plans, grading designs, and utility layouts using industry-standard design tools such as Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation. Assist in the development of high-quality engineering deliverables for infrastructure projects supporting Distributed Network projects like Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Participate in evaluating methods used in design activities to support continuous improvement and efficiency. Ensure deliverables are accurate and compliant with established standards, systems, and BV policies by adhering to the BV Quality Program. Support coordination of deliverables with other project disciplines to reduce errors and interferences. Assist with minor technical tasks such as material quantity estimates and dimensional checks. Proactively seek and share knowledge of emerging technologies and processes relevant to civil engineering design. Requirements Diploma or Certificate required; Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Related Technology preferred. Typically a minimum of 1 year related work experience. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices. Experience with digital tools and design software such asCAD, BIM, 3D
modeling. Ability to create, modify, and maintain technical documents and drawings. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
