Job Description

Our Industrial Center of Excellence (ICoE) team continues to grow, and we are seeking a talented Lead Architect to join our award‑winning practice supporting Federal, Industrial/Food, and Generation facilities . Our team delivers functional, high‑performance buildings with controlled environments, guided by responsible design practices and the principles of sustainability, LEED, and LEAN methodologies. Collaboration is central to our approach, with Building Information Modeling (BIM) serving as a key tool to communicate integrated 3D designs across project teams, owners, and construction partners. Role Responsibilities The successful candidate will serve as a technical and project leader, managing architectural scope and coordinating across multiple disciplines.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity across different phases of design Write, edit, and oversee architectural specifications, including Divisions 0 and 1 Ensure projects meet client budgets, schedules, and program requirements Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support detailed design development, perform design checks, and lead formal document reviews Maintain responsibility for architectural quality control and delivery of project documents Oversee architectural design scope including building layout, egress, code compliance, life safety regulations, and sustainability goals (as applicable) Foster strong client relationships, providing exceptional service, supporting existing clients, and contributing to business development efforts Support proposal development, including RFP responses and project pursuits Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field Minimum 7 years of professional experience in an architectural or A/E firm environment Minimum 3 years of experience using Revit in a professional setting Experience leading multiple projects concurrently across various design phases Proficiency with AutoCAD or other CADD platforms Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and client‑facing capabilities Experience overseeing both technical and administrative aspects of project delivery Experience working on Federal Government projects Preferred Qualifications Licensed Architect Experience with tenant improvements, additions, and new construction. Industrial and Food & Beverage manufacturing experience preferred. Familiarity with design‑build and design‑bid‑build delivery methods Experience with sustainable design practices; LEED or LEED‑AP certification preferred Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or comparable design software in a multidisciplinary environment

Expected Salary:
$102.200 - $151,800 WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law. #LI-JM1
