Pre Fab Architectural Systems Designer

At Falkbuilt Chicago, powered by Interiors for Business , design meets innovation. We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Walls / Prefabricated Systems Designer to join our team and help bring interior environments to life through modular construction and integrated workplace solutions. In this role, you'll collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and clients to develop detailed drawings, layouts, and visualizations for demountable walls, architectural systems, and integrated workplace environments. You'll translate concepts into buildable solutions that are both functional and visually impactful. What You'll Do Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings for prefabricated wall systems and workplace environments Create layouts, elevations, renderings, and installation documents using Revit and related design software Coordinate design intent with project teams, architects, contractors, and clients Review specifications, field conditions, and project requirements to ensure accuracy and feasibility Assist with space planning and integration of contract furniture and architectural products Maintain project documentation, revisions, and drawing standards throughout the project lifecycle Support client presentations with visual renderings and product solutions Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects move smoothly from design through installation What We're Looking For Experience in commercial interiors, architectural products, prefabricated systems, or workplace design Proficiency in Revit required; AutoCAD and rendering software experience preferred Understanding of construction documents, detailing, and interior architectural systems Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and strong visual design skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with demountable wall systems, modular interiors, or Falkbuilt or Steelcase wall solutions Familiarity with commercial furniture systems Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Technology, or related field Why Join Us? Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, education, geographic location, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, which will be discussed during the hiring process.

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
