Elements Architectural Group is looking to add an Architect Associate to our team. Job Overview The Architect Associate collaborates with senior architects and interior designers to play a direct role in bringing custom homes to life by producing drawing sets, solving challenges, and coordinating the details that turn a great design into a buildable home. The ideal candidate is an early-career architect who genuinely loves the craft of technical production, finds as much satisfaction in figuring out how a detail is built as in the design itself, and thrives in a collaborative environment where the client's vision always comes first. This position is for you if you view architecture as a passion and not just a career, take real ownership of your work even when no one is checking, and are ready to plant roots in a studio that will invest in your growth. Job Details Produces full architectural drawing sets for high-end residential projects Develops and refines design details, resolving technical challenges with creative, buildable solutions Coordinates with outside consultants (structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil) to integrate their work into project drawings Flags constructability issues proactively and brings proposed solutions to the team Collaborates day-to-day with senior architects, taking clear direction and executing with ownership Coordinates between architecture and interior design disciplines to support the firm's integrated design approach Manages tasks and priorities across multiple concurrent projects Conducts occasional site visits for field measurements and construction observation Submits accurate timesheets and client updates to support on-time billing and project management Performs other duties as assigned Requirements -
Skills & Experience:
Professional degree in Architecture or a related field Prior experience at an architecture firm Demonstrated ability to produce complete architectural drawing sets independently Design capability alongside technical skill Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp Experience with residential architecture Technical problem-solving ability Detail-oriented in both technical drawings and operational tasks Collaborative, team-oriented work style Punctual and reliable
Job Structure:
In-office role 40-hour work week Flexible scheduling within the firm's operating hours Must attend the weekly all-staff meeting at 8:30 am on Mondays Benefits Health Insurance 401k
