Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Designer of all experience levels to join our team in Chicago. This role collaborates closely with internal teams, clients, and industry partners to deliver functional, innovative, and visually compelling design solutions. The Designer will contribute across all phases of a project-from concept development through installation-supporting space planning, documentation, field verification, and client presentations. Job Responsibilities Design Execution & Project Delivery Develop functional and visually compelling design solutions across a range of projects. Contribute to projects through all phases, from concept development through installation. Support space planning, furniture layouts, and specification development. Prepare design documentation, drawings, and client presentation materials. Conduct field verification and support installation activities as needed. Collaboration & Client Engagement Partner with internal teams, clients, and external vendors to deliver successful project outcomes. Participate in client meetings and presentations, clearly communicating design intent and recommendations. Build strong working relationships that support project success and client satisfaction. Technical & Operational Excellence Apply knowledge of interior design principles, building codes, and specification standards. Maintain accuracy, organization, and attention to detail across all project deliverables. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA-accredited program. Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract design, furniture dealership, or construction. Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, building codes, and technical drawing. Proficiency in AutoCAD, CET, CAP/Cyncly, or Spec. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn. Experience in contract furniture, ancillary products, and workplace planning is a plus.
