Please email CV and Resume to [email protected] Designer Höweler + Yoon is a Boston-based architectural design firm of 20+ employees committed to transformational impact in the built environment and design excellence across multiple scales. Founded and led by Partners Eric Höweler and J. Meejin Yoon, the studio has built a reputation for work that is research-driven, socially engaged, and formally innovative. We are looking for a talented, motivated, and responsible Designer(s) with 3+ years of experience for our office in Boston, MA.
Qualifications:
Professional degree (B.Arch or M.Arch) and 3+ years of qualified experience Experience in preparing and developing drawing sets Excellent design and graphic skills, with the ability to participate in the conceptualization and design of complex projects from the pre-design through construction documents phases Experience in design coordination and collaboration with consultant teams Advanced digital modeling & rendering skills Strong organizational skills, ability to manage deadlines, and ability to be flexible Excellent communication, collaboration, and management skills with clients, consultants, H+Y leadership, and the design team Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Suite Strong work ethic, being proactive, and self motivation is essential
Responsibilities:
Prepare conceptual design sketches, develop project narrative, and prepare materials for presentation Coordinate and execute assigned aspects of project documentation Meet functional, spatial & aesthetic needs of clients concerning construction procedures, code, material requirements Attend meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and vendors as delegated
