Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our Dallas studio. This is an in-office, full-time position for a designer who can help guide high-end residential projects from concept to completion with creativity, organization, technical precision and strong leadership. The Senior Designer will have a high level of responsibility and ownership over the projects they manage, leading the creation of comprehensive interiors schemes while coordinating interior architecture, programming, space planning, material selections, FF&E, presentations, drawings, specifications, client communication, vendor coordination and installations. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-driven, proactive and confident in keeping projects moving with professionalism and care. This role will also include guiding and supervising the work of a Junior Designer.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Manage projects from start to close, including scope, schedule, budget, profitability and client satisfaction Lead client meetings and maintain strong communication with clients, vendors, contractors and the internal team Collaborate with the Principal on project concepts, goals and design direction Create detailed drawings, renderings, architectural models, floor plans, elevations and construction documentation Develop client mood boards, presentations, specifications and FF&E selections Research and source materials, finishes, furnishings, lighting, accessories and artisan products Review shop drawings, troubleshoot design and installation details and support site coordination Lead installation planning, deliveries, photoshoots and post-installation follow-up Mentor and support junior team members with clear, proactive leadership
Required Skills and Experience:
4-year Interior Design degree from an accredited college or university 3+ years of Senior Interior Designer experience with a focus on residential interiors Strong knowledge of high-end residential design, construction documentation, FF&E and client presentations Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Photoshop Familiarity with Asana, Zoom, Dropbox and Studio Designer preferred SketchUp experience is favored but not required Strong communication skills, organization, attention to detail and a willingness to "figure it out"
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
