Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Building / Architectural Draftsperson to join a growing team. This is a great opportunity for a professional with 3-5 years of experience who is eager to contribute to meaningful projects while continuing to expand their skills and knowledge. About the Role In this role, you will collaborate closely with our project manager and team to develop high-quality architectural and structural drawings. You'll play a key role in transforming ideas into detailed plans while supporting projects from concept through completion. We're looking for someone who is self-driven, organized, and eager to learn, with an interest in developing expertise in building codes, design standards, and certification processes. Key Responsibilities Prepare architectural and structural drawings, including plans, elevations, and sections Gather and organize project data, including conducting site visits and field measurements as needed Translate preliminary concepts, sketches, and specifications into accurate, detailed drawings Produce 3D models and renderings as required Operate CAD software to create working drawings, design documents, and project records Assist the Project Manager by tracking and reporting on project status Draft written correspondence and documentation as needed Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in architectural/structural drafting Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (or similar design software) Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows Explorer) Solid understanding of building plans and construction detailing Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Willingness to learn, grow, and develop expertise in code interpretation and certification processes Why You'll Like It Opportunity to work on a variety of engaging building projects Supportive team environment that encourages professional growth Hands-on experience across multiple aspects of the design process A role where your contributions make a real impact If you're a motivated draftsperson looking to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you!
