About the
Role:
The Bathroom/Flooring Sales and Design professional plays a pivotal role in guiding customers through the selection and customization of bathroom and flooring products to enhance their living or commercial spaces. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, product knowledge, and customer service to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and preferences. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clients to assess their requirements, provide expert advice, and create detailed design plans that align with their vision and budget. Additionally, this position involves managing sales processes from initial consultation through to project completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships. Ultimately, the role contributes to the company's growth by driving sales, enhancing brand reputation, and delivering exceptional design experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in sales, preferably in bathroom or flooring products. Basic knowledge of design principles and familiarity with design software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and customer interactions simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CAD or other professional design software. Previous experience in a retail or showroom environment. Certification in sales or design-related courses. Knowledge of installation processes and building codes related to bathroom and flooring products.
Responsibilities:
Consult with customers to understand their bathroom and flooring needs, preferences, and budget constraints. Develop customized design plans using industry-standard software and tools to visualize product selections and layouts. Provide expert advice on product features, materials, and installation processes to help customers make informed decisions. Manage the sales process including preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with suppliers and installation teams. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, new products, and competitive offerings to provide relevant recommendations. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and quality installation of products.
