Architectural Designer

The Role We are looking for an experienced mid-level architect or designer, preferably with a focus on custom residential design and construction. You should be fluent in AutoCAD, confident in your technical knowledge, and comfortable with both design and the preparation of construction drawings.

Required Qualifications Experience:

Preferably a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a residential architecture firm.

Education:

Bachelor of Architecture or related degree

Technical Proficiency:

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Experience with 3D modeling/rendering software is preferred.

Expertise:

Strong grasp of wood-frame construction and a sharp eye for precision and detail. Detailed understanding of building materials, detailing, and construction techniques. Working knowledge of building and zoning codes.

Local Connection:

Based in or near the Ocean City, New Jersey area.

Key Responsibilities Design:

Assisting with all phases of design, from conceptual sketches through construction documents.

Detailing:

Developing and refining complex construction details for a wide variety of residential projects.

Documentation:

The development of comprehensive construction documentation and detailed design packages.

Project Coordination:
