Position Summary Netta Architects is seeking a technically strong Job Captain with 5+ years of professional experience, preferably with public-sector projects. This role is ideal for a motivated professional on the architectural licensure track who thrives in a fast-paced, documentation-driven environment and is comfortable carrying projects from design through construction. The Job Captain will work closely with Project Architects and Project Managers to lead production, coordinate consultants, and support construction administration on complex, code-intensive projects. • Commercial projects (retail, office, food service) Key Responsibilities Lead architectural production from schematic design through construction documents with exceptional technical and detailing abilities Develop and manage Revit® models and coordinated drawing sets for public-sector submissions Coordinate with consultants, agencies, and internal teams to ensure code compliance and document accuracy to firm standards Assist with quality control reviews, detailing, and technical problem-solving Support construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, field observations, and agency responses Clearly communicate design intent and technical information through drawings, sketches, and presentations Work within established schedules, budgets, and public procurement requirements Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional architectural experience Strong experience with zoning ordinances, building codes, accessibility requirements, and public-sector documentation standards Proficiency in Revit ® and preparation of coordinated construction documents Solid understanding of building systems, detailing, and consultant coordination Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams Bachelor's degree in Architecture required Actively pursuing architectural licensure (preferred) Benefits 401(k) Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off Professional development and licensure support
