Savant Metals About Us Savant Metals is a custom architectural sheet metal fabrication company specializing in stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized steel, custom railings, metal louvers, canopies, decorative metal, roofing components, and architectural fabrication. We work with general contractors, architects, and commercial clients throughout the Northeast. Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Sales Estimator / CAD Drafter to prepare estimates, create shop drawings, communicate with customers, and help grow our business. This is primarily an office position with occasional visits to the production floor to coordinate projects. Responsibilities Review architectural drawings and specifications Prepare accurate estimates and quotations Create shop drawings using AutoCAD Produce DXF files for laser cutting Communicate with architects, contractors, and customers Follow up on submitted proposals Assist with project management after award Coordinate with the fabrication shop Source material pricing from vendors Help develop new customer relationships Qualifications 2+ years of estimating or drafting experience AutoCAD proficiency (required) Ability to read architectural and structural drawings Experience with architectural sheet metal, metal fabrication, or miscellaneous metals Excellent communication skills Strong organizational skills Microsoft Office proficiency Experience with Bluebeam is a plus Preferred Experience Stainless steel fabrication Aluminum fabrication Laser cutting Press brake forming Railings Louvers Canopies Storefront metals Miscellaneous metals Compensation $55,000-$65,000 base salary (depending on experience) Paid holidays Paid vacation Opportunities for growth into Project Manager or Sales Manager Why Join Savant Metals?
