PEM-America is dedicated to meeting the ever-changing needs of the market with an emphasis on quality, creativity, and customer satisfaction. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Designer role based in New York, NY. The Designer will be responsible for creating innovative home textile designs, collaborating with the product development and sourcing teams, and adhering to brand vision and client specifications. Responsibilities include researching and creating seasonal mood and trend boards, creating artwork and technical specifications including repeats, revising artwork based on feedback, and preparing design files for sampling and production. The Designer will work closely with internal teams and external partners to bring innovative and appealing home textile products to market. Qualifications Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other graphic design tools Experience in technical design for textiles or related industries Strong understanding of color theory, pattern creation, and design trends in home textiles Ability to conduct research effectively and translate market trends into innovative design concepts Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sourcing and product development Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines Strong Microsoft Office Skills such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc. Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field 3+ years in home, apparel or fashion related fieldSimilar jobs in Weehawken, NJ
