Senior Civil Design Engineer

Reno, Nevada job type: Contract salary: $72.46 - 83.15 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive civil and structural engineering design for substation and transmission facilities to ensure timely, on-budget construction.

Develop detailed civil plans for substation sitework, including grading, off-site improvements, drainage, fencing, and landscaping.

Perform precise calculations and prepare designs for substation steel structures, foundations, and control enclosures.

Execute transmission line engineering, encompassing route selection, structure loading, foundation design, and conductor sag calculations.

Specify materials, evaluate bid documents and technical submittals, and assemble complete construction packages.
