Responsibilities:
Manage multiple aspects of client expectations, team communication, project production, and oversight of consultant coordination Monitor and manage team performance to support project schedules and budgets. Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development to team members. Interface with city planning and design review process, Resolve complex technical and design issues with the team to produce innovative technical/constructable solutions Production of drawings and specification coordination Oversight and delivery of documents with design intent and exceptional technical quality Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project Construction administration tasks, including processing of submittals/substitution requests, RFI's, and field reports
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture (required). Master's degree in Architecture (preferred) Licensed Architect (5 years minimum) with 8 plus years professional/technical experience in Architecture Experience in managing multiple project types (housing, civic, education, a plus) Knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, Highly proficient in technical documentation, building materials, constructability, and coordination of specifications, Experience in construction document preparation and field observation Proficient in Adobe and/or Affinity Creative Suites Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, and other 3D modeling software Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development Excellent communication and client relationship management skills Why Moody Nolan?
