Full-Time | 40 Hours•Shape the Future of Community InfrastructureWe are supporting our client in hiring a talented Land Development Engineer to join a growing civil engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on impactful projects across multiple markets, including Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Federal, State, and Municipal sectors.

You'll contribute to essential site civil design - layout, grading, paving, stormwater management, storm sewer, water distribution, and sanitary sewer systems - helping shape the communities our client serves.

The OpportunityAs a Project Engineer, you will take responsibility for delivering high‑quality design packages across multiple projects. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, lead portions of the design effort, and produce engineering deliverables using CAD/BIM tools, hand calculations, and engineering software.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, technically strong, and motivated to grow in both engineering design and project leadership.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Technical DeliveryPrepare and review site civil engineering plans, drawings, and calculations.

Perform or direct design work for construction documents, specifications, studies, and reports.

Ensure all work meets applicable codes, standards, and quality requirements.

Conduct design computations using engineering software and manual methods.

Coordinate with internal and external disciplines to deliver cohesive project solutions.

Monitor project performance and identify risks or issues early.

Project ExecutionAssist with project proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and cost estimates.

Organize and manage tasks across multiple concurrent projects.

Support construction administration activities as needed.

Conduct quality control reviews at key project milestones.

Team & Client EngagementServe as a technical advisor to Project Managers.

Mentor, train, and develop junior engineering staff.

Communicate effectively with design teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Contribute to business development through relationship-building and client support.

Skills & AttributesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing engineering designs and documentation.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.

Familiarity with local regulations, permitting, and design standards.

Experience with CAD and civil engineering modeling software.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to determine project requirements, scopes, design budgets, and preliminary construction estimates.

Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.

Minimum 4 years of engineering experience.

LicensingProfessional Engineer (PE) license required in the state of practice or attainable within 6 months.
