Job Description

Action Group is looking for a Structural Drafter to create detailed technical drawings and plans for buildings and other structures. The drafter will use CAD software to translate designs and specifications into construction documents and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
PAY:
$20-$27+ per hour
DOE Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm Responsibilities of the
Structural Drafter:
Produce detailed CAD drawings (plans, sections, elevations) of structural components Verify that drawings adhere to building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Calculate dimensions, weights, and stresses of materials, and verify accuracy of drawings. Develop and maintain accurate records of drawings and project documentation. Execute quality control checks on structural documents for accuracy Update drawings and documentation based on design changes and project requirements. Create detailed reports, calculate material amounts and costs, and prepare construction specifications and timelines. Communicate with contractors and construction teams to clarify design details and address any issues. Requirements of the
Structural Drafter:
Vocational or Technical education in Drafting and CAD Proficiently use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify drawings. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building materials and construction methods.
