People. Trust LRS Architects is looking for a Designer for our Multi-Family Housing Studio. You'll help create housing environments that strengthen communities and enhance the lives of the people who live in them. Working alongside architects, interior designers, and project leaders, you'll contribute to projects ranging from affordable and workforce housing to market-rate and mixed-use developments.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support the design and documentation of multifamily housing projects from early planning through construction Collaborate with project teams to develop creative, practical, and thoughtful design solutions that align with client goals, project budgets, schedules, and quality standards Produce BIM models, drawings, renderings, details, schedules, and presentation materials Assist with site analysis, code research, building planning, unit layouts, amenity spaces, and design studies Coordinate assigned tasks with architecture, interiors, engineering consultants, and other project team members Apply firm standards, BIM protocols, quality assurance processes, and project guidelines Participate in project activities through programming, design development, construction documentation, construction administration, and project closeout Manage assigned tasks and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Continue developing your technical expertise, design skills, and professional growth through mentorship and project experience.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) Experience ranging from entry-level to approximately 3 years in architecture Proficiency with Revit and other industry-standard design software Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills The ability to manage multiple assignments and work collaboratively within a project team Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to contribute to meaningful housing projects.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE VALUE
Experience working on multifamily housing, mixed-use, affordable housing, student housing, senior living, or similar residential project types Understanding of residential planning, building codes, accessibility requirements, and housing design principles Experience preparing construction documents and design deliverables Ability to read, understand, and produce technical drawings and specifications Knowledge of building systems, materials, detailing, and constructability Experience coordinating with consultants and multidisciplinary project teams Strong design, visualization, and problem-solving skills Commitment to creating thoughtful, sustainable, and community-focused housing environments
