Residential Architectural Designer

Responsibilities Develop conceptual designs and detailed drawings using SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite to visualize ideas effectively. Collaborate with project teams to create comprehensive design presentations that communicate concepts clearly and persuasively. Prepare accurate drafting and CAD documentation for construction and permit submissions, ensuring precision and compliance with building codes. Assist in project scheduling, tracking milestones, and coordinating deliverables to keep projects on time and within scope. Support project management activities by reviewing contracts, overseeing design development phases, and facilitating communication among stakeholders. Contribute to the drafting of technical details, construction documents, and specifications that guide the building process smoothly. Participate actively in site visits and construction meetings to ensure design intent is realized during the build phase. Requirements Proven experience with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite for architectural design and visualization. Strong skills in drafting, CAD documentation, and technical detailing aligned with construction standards. Knowledge of project scheduling techniques and project management principles to coordinate multiple phases efficiently. Familiarity with contracts, construction processes, and building codes to ensure compliance throughout project execution. Ability to communicate ideas clearly through sketches, presentations, and technical reports. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field; professional licensure is a plus but not required. Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
