We are seeking a motivated Revit / CAD Drafter to join our team and support the design and fabrication of high-quality architectural and mechanical railing systems. This role plays a key part in translating design intent into accurate, buildable drawings while working closely with project managers, sales, fabrication, and installation teams. Key Duties & Responsibilities Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to create and modify 2D and 3D architectural documents, including submittal, fabrication, and installation drawings. Prepare part and assembly drawings for the fabrication of mechanical railing components. Develop accurate cut lists and bills of material to support fabrication and installation. Perform BIM modeling and create 3D images and renderings using Revit. Review drawings and parts lists for completeness and accuracy; redline and revise as needed. Collaborate closely with project managers, sales, and fellow drafters to ensure project requirements are met. Provide technical support to marketing, sales, fabrication, and installation teams when needed. Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, engineering standards, and HDI quality expectations. Qualifications & Requirements Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings and blueprints. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office . 1-3 years of professional experience using Revit and AutoCAD. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team. Ability to manage deadlines in a project-driven environment. Competency working in both Imperial and Metric measurement systems. Willingness to learn and leverage available resources to continuously improve design output. Preferred (but not required) Qualifications Experience with laser scanning Revit family creation Rendering software experience Why Work at HDI? Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
