Architect Civil and Environmental Consultants vision insurance, tuition assistance, 401(k), profit sharing United States, Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh May 21, 2026 Architect Job Locations US-PA-Pittsburgh (Moon Township) Category Architectural Designer Type Full-Time Overview Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), a growing multi-disciplined, Pittsburgh-based consulting firm, is expanding its Manufacturing Infrastructure Services (MIS) to better serve the industrial and manufacturing markets. CEC is seeking an Architect experienced in preparing construction documents using Building Information Modeling (BIM) and seeing project throughout all phases in our Pittsburgh, PA office. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the growth of a national, multi-disciplined consulting firm that is providing client focused services in the manufacturing, real estate, natural gas, solid waste, mining, power and public sector markets.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and resolve problems by reviewing multiple sources of information and coordinating design criteria with other disciplines Develop material take-offs Site elements and building architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems ADA accessibility requirements Preparing construction documents and specifications Read and interpret construction drawings and prepare accurate detailed existing drawings Qualifications 10+ design experience on architectural projects Thrive in a team collaboration and multidiscipline studio environment Experience with construction materials, building codes, and regulatory standards Experience in Revit and AutoCAD Strong oral and written communication skills (prepare meeting minutes and proposal writing) Some travel should be expected (estimated travel time is under 10%)
Preferred Qualifications:
Architectural license preferred Experience using Navisworks and Bluebeam software Experience in providing construction administration services Experience performing property or facility condition assessments Experience in design/bid/build and design/build project delivery systems Hazardous material analysis About Us We have experts!
