Job Description
Survey Grading Specialist Job Description We are seeking a Survey Grading Specialist - This role involves developing accurate and detailed 3D grading models for a variety of projects, including site development, roadway, utilities, and infrastructure. Responsibilities Develop accurate and detailed 3D grading models for site development, roadway, utilities, and infrastructure projects. Generate 3D CAD models (grading, structure, custom 3D assemblies, etc.) based on engineering specifications. Produce and manage Civil 3D surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, and grading objects. Assist with design optimization through iterative modeling and quality checks. Prepare construction-ready CAD files, exhibits, and plan sets. Coordinate closely with engineers and survey teams to ensure model accuracy and integration with field data. Maintain CAD standards, templates, and layer management for project consistency. Essential Skills Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D. Proven experience creating advanced grading models and complex surface designs. Proven 3D modeling experience. Strong knowledge of land development, civil/site design, and infrastructure workflows. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, survey data, and specifications. Some exposure to GIS. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Civil engineering, AutoCAD, HydroCAD, grading, drainage plan development, site plan, site design, surveying, site grading, AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, civil, site development, civil design, drainage, stormwater, and erosion control. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warrington, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.48 - $55.29/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
