Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Instructional Designer experienced in developing multimedia-rich courses, proficient with Articulate Rise, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Canva, TechSmith Camtasia, and SharePoint. Requires over five years' experience designing educational eLearning products—including video-based learning, microlearning videos, and eLearning/SCORM courses—plus deep understanding of integrating varied media elements for diverse learning styles.Key Responsibilities:
.- Design educational materials that align with established branding and visual guidelines, adapting and customizing content while maintaining organizational standards.
- Ensure systematic saving and organization of learning products within production libraries and repositories.
- Utilize project management tools (including but not limited to Jira) to track progress and provide weekly project development reports.
- Create content thumbnails and conduct thorough content tests with subject matter experts and test subjects to validate educational materials.
- Upload completed SCORM courses to the Learning Management System (LMS) and educational videos to the repository.
- Maintain and update internal SharePoint pages, including links and thumbnails, to communicate new educational materials; edit as needed for engagement and learning flow.
- Write content for internal communications (Teams Channels, LMS Communication Areas) to inform stakeholders about newly launched projects.
- Exhibit exceptional organizational skills, ensuring materials are well-structured and user experience is enhanced.
- Apply advanced graphic design skills for education and training, enriching course content to maximize learner engagement.
- Collaborate closely with the Manager of Learning and Development, AI & Digital Upskilling, seeking and responding to feedback regarding branding, content delivery, look, and feel.
- Demonstrate strong adaptability, able to make prompt adjustments if initial concepts/materials do not align with guidelines or manager expectations
- Engage stakeholders and lead calls with subject matter experts, managing feedback and providing regular progress updates.
- Deliver a range of content types, such as quick reference guides, educational videos, and eLearning modules using Articulate Rise and Storyline, Canva.
- Regularly update the Associate Director of Learning and Development on project status.
- Use project management tools, including Jira, to track project timelines, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables across multiple learning and development initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver weekly project status reports to communicate progress, risks, blockers, and next steps to stakeholders and leadership.
- Contribute to quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and monthly business reviews (MBRs) by summarizing project outcomes, work in progress, key achievements, challenges, and upcoming priorities.
- Maintain organized project documentation and ensure learning assets are systematically saved within production libraries and repositories.
- Provide regular updates to the Manager of Learning and Development, AI & Digital Upskilling, and the Associate Director of Learning and Development on project status, escalations, and delivery progress.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability designing within branding and visual guidelines, with flexibility to adapt as branding evolves—balancing creativity and compliance.
- Demonstrates strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities, effectively facilitating calls with subject matter experts, incorporating feedback from both SMEs and Learning & Development leadership, and consistently tracking and reporting on content delivery progress.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, and Illustrator for multimedia content development.
- Proactive and flexible in responding to changes and evolving requirements.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
