BIM/CADD
Designer to join our Northwest Cities & Places team. This role supports architectural project teams by planning, configuring, implementing, and supporting Digital Delivery efforts, including Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Computer‑Aided Design (CAD), across a diverse range of architectural projects. As an Architectural
BIM/CADD
Designer, you will play a key role in the development and coordination of architectural construction documents. You will draft and maintain BIM models and drawings that translate design intent into clear, accurate, and buildable construction documentation, supporting projects from design through construction. Our work spans a variety of market sectors, including water, transportation, facility design, corporate workplace, hospitality, higher education, municipal, and science & research, serving both local and national clients. You will work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and leadership as part of a multidisciplinary team to produce coordinated BIM models and drawing sets. This includes applying architectural standards, interpreting specifications, adapting general and project‑specific details as needed, and supporting the development of code‑compliant documentation by incorporating applicable building codes and standards as directed. Work on meaningful projects that help shape communities across the region Collaborate with architects, planners, engineers, and project leaders across diverse market sectors Be part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team that values design excellence, technical rigor, innovation and delivery excellence #LI-AC2 Here's what you'll need Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited technical institution or college in drafting or design, architecture, engineering or a related field 5-10 years of professional experience using Revit and AutoCAD for building-related projects Experience developing and coordinating architectural construction documents Ability to translate sketches, redlines, and verbal direction into accurate technical drawings and BIM models Ability to interpret architectural specifications and incorporate material, system, and performance requirements into drawings and BIM models Demonstrated ability to modify standard and project‑specific architectural details to suit varying project conditions and design intent Working knowledge of applicable building codes and standards as they relate to architectural documentation, with the ability to coordinate with architects or code consultants to address compliance questions Experience managing worksets, visibility controls, and parameters within Revit families and schedules Experience incorporating architectural specifications, notes, and requirements into Revit models and construction documents Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office applications Strong teamwork skills and enthusiasm for collaborative work Will not now or in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa (examples: H-1B, L-1B, or other temporary visa status like OPT or F-1) to work for Jacobs in the U.S. Ideally you'll also have: Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, or Revizto, including the ability to set up clash reports, rules, and selection sets Understanding of project workflows from design, estimation, construction administration, and coordination Proficiency in creating and maintaining Revit templates and managing project setup Proficiency with editing and markup software (Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) Excellent organization, documentation, and communication skills Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve issues in a timely and positive manner Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines Ability to receive guidance and direction from peers and project leadership Proficiency in graphic and visualization tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, Enscape, and InDesign; familiarity with other graphic tools and workflows is encouraged

The base salary range for this position is $97,600.00 to $110,900.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
