Job Description

Brand Reviewer West Loop, Chicago | Hybrid (3 Days In-Office) Kick off your design career working on one of the largest restaurant refresh programs in North America . We're hiring a Brand Reviewer to support a nationwide modernization initiative for a globally recognized quick-service restaurant brand. In this role, you'll work on the client/owner side , shaping how thousands of existing restaurant locations look, feel, and function—focusing on front-of-house spaces like point-of-sale counters, menu boards, café areas, and customer flow. This is a great opportunity for entry-level and early-career designers —especially candidates with hands-on Bluebeam experience —who want exposure to real-world projects, national rollouts, and fast-paced design decision-making. Why You'll Love This Role Entry-level friendly if you have Bluebeam experience and a design background Work on real, built projects seen by millions of customers Get exposure to branding, signage, space planning, and facility design Learn how large-scale rollouts are managed on the client/owner side Join a collaborative team with structured onboarding and mentorship Hybrid schedule in a modern West Loop Chicago office What You'll Do Review and update front-of-house restaurant designs, including counters, menu boards, café areas, and equipment zones Support a nationwide restaurant refresh and modernization program across North America Redline and comment on architectural drawings using Bluebeam and PDF-based tools Help ensure restaurant interiors align with corporate brand standards, color palettes, and prototypes Evaluate customer and employee traffic flow to improve layout efficiency and operations Assist with equipment placement (kitchen, utility, plumbing, and order stations) Redline and revise floor plans, elevations, sections, and details in AutoCAD Review signage placement, dimensions, and branding elements on plans and elevations Coordinate with outside architects, engineers, vendors, and internal project managers Review shop drawings and help clarify design intent with suppliers Apply ADA guidelines to restaurant layouts and design details Take on technical and documentation tasks to support project managers Work independently while collaborating closely with a fast-moving, design-focused team Adapt quickly to evolving brand direction and design updates What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Bluebeam experience is required (reviewing, redlining, and commenting on PDF drawings) Entry-level to 2+ years of experience in architecture, interiors, or facilities design Experience producing or redlining construction documents in AutoCAD Interest in commercial, retail, or restaurant environments (not residential-focused) Basic understanding of ADA requirements in commercial design Strong communication skills and comfort working with internal and external teams Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage tasks independently Positive, adaptable attitude in a fast-paced, change-driven environment Interest in branding, signage, and prototype-based design systems Nice-to-Have (Not Required) Restaurant, retail, or hospitality design experience Kitchen or back-of-house planning exposure Experience reviewing shop drawings or coordinating with vendors Familiarity with Autodesk Design Review or similar CAD-adjacent tools Work Environment & Perks Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office / 2 remote West Loop Chicago office (most team members work in-office Tuesday-Thursday) Initial onboarding includes additional in-office time for training and support Structured, documented onboarding to help you ramp up quickly Free coffee, water, and soda in the office Optional Thursday happy hours (cash bar) On-site gym access for a small monthly fee Paid time off, matched holidays, and half-day Fridays Collaborative, professional culture that values communication, initiative, and adaptability Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
